Swap names for placeholders before sending a report to an AI for a grammar pass, then put the real names back afterward.
● Runs only in this page. Names are never sent anywhere.One person per line: role: Full Name, nickname, nickname. The role is optional and sets the placeholder label. First names and last names are also caught on their own, along with possessives like Maya's. Add schools, towns or other identifiers the same way (school: Lincoln Elementary).
Word, PDF, Excel or CSV. A PDF comes back as a Word file; the others come back as the same kind of file. The file is read on this device and is not uploaded anywhere. Tracked changes are accepted and comments are removed in the safe copy.
Tell the AI something like: “Fix grammar and spelling. Leave anything in [BRACKETS] exactly as written.”
With a Word or PDF file: upload the safe copy to Claude or ChatGPT and ask for a corrected Word file back, or open it in Word and use its editor or Copilot. With an Excel file: ask for an edited Excel file back, with anything in [BRACKETS] and any sheet named like CHILD_1 left exactly as written. If you get text back instead of a file, paste it in step 3.
